We are looking for a high-agency, detail-oriented individual to work closely with the Founder on strategic, operational, and execution priorities. This role offers a front-row seat to building a civil engineering startup and requires someone who can switch between strategy and ground-level execution seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities
Founder Enablement & Execution
- Act as a thought partner to the Founder on business priorities
- Track and drive execution of key initiatives across projects
- Prepare briefs, presentations, and decision-making material.
Project & Operations Management
- Monitor ongoing civil engineering projects (timelines, budgets, risks)
- Coordinate with site teams, vendors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
- Identify bottlenecks and ensure timely resolution
Strategic Initiatives
- Support market research (new projects, materials, technologies)
- Assist in business planning, partnerships, and growth initiatives
- Work on special projects (investment prep, process setup, expansion planning)
Data & Reporting
- Build dashboards and MIS reports for project and business tracking
- Analyze operational and financial data to generate insights
- Drive data-backed decision-making
Cross-functional Coordination
- Act as a bridge between engineering, procurement, finance, and leadership
- Ensure alignment and follow-through across teams
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / related field
- MBA or equivalent (preferred but not mandatory)
Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in engineering, consulting, startups or operations
- Exposure to civil/construction projects is a strong advantage
Skills & Competencies
- Strong problem-solving and structured thinking
- High ownership and bias for action
- Ability to manage ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets and presentation tools
- Basic understanding of project management principles (e.g., scheduling, costing)
