Role Overview
AIFI is seeking a proactive and tech-savvy professional to drive digital engagement and deliver high-quality industry events. This role combines event management with IT-enabled systems to ensure seamless execution, effective data management, membership growth, and an enhanced stakeholder experience across the forging industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Systems & Data Management
Manage and enhance AIFI’s website and digital platforms, including regular updates, monitoring, and coordination with internal teams and external vendors.
Maintain and optimize the members’ database and digital communication tools.
Ensure data accuracy, segmentation, and effective utilization for targeted campaigns and outreach.
2. Digital & Social Media Coordination
Manage and coordinate regular updates on AIFI’s digital platforms, including LinkedIn and the official website.
Support content planning and execution to improve engagement and industry visibility.
3. Publications & Industry Reports
Assist in the preparation and coordination of Forging Industry Reports.
Manage and support the publication of the AIFI Suppliers’ Directory.
4. Event Promotion & Participation
Plan and execute promotional strategies to maximize participation in AIFI events (regional meetings, workshops, webinars, etc.).
Coordinate with members and prospective participants to ensure strong attendance and engagement.
Support end-to-end event communication, outreach, and follow-ups.
5. Membership Development
Identify and onboard new forging units as AIFI Members.
Engage with companies in service and allied industries to expand Associate Membership.
Drive membership campaigns with clear targets and timelines.
Design and circulate compelling membership flyers and promotional materials.
6. Sponsorship Development
Identify and develop sponsorship opportunities for regional meetings and industry events.
Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders to secure sponsorships and partnerships.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in B2B marketing, membership sales, or event management (preferred)
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with industry stakeholders
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Experience in social media management and content coordination
- Self-motivated with a target-driven mindset
