Executive Housekeeper | Sahara Star, Mumbai
Sahara Star is not just a hotel; it is a landmark of luxury and architectural brilliance. We are looking for an Executive Housekeeper who matches the grandeur of our property with a sophisticated, proactive, and "smart" leadership style.
As the Executive Housekeeper, you will be the custodian of our guests' first impressions. You won't just manage a department; you will curate an environment of impeccable luxury, ensuring every corner of our 5-star facility reflects the highest international standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations of the Housekeeping and Laundry departments, ensuring seamless service and peak efficiency.
- Quality Control: Maintain rigorous 5-star standards for cleanliness, hygiene, and aesthetic presentation across guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
- Strategic Leadership: Manage departmental budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships while optimizing labor costs without compromising quality.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and inspire a large team. We believe in a culture of excellence; you will be responsible for training staff to deliver "the Sahara Star experience."
- Guest Satisfaction: Proactively resolve guest concerns and implement innovative touches that "wow" our high-profile clientele.
The Ideal Profile- Experience: A minimum of 10–12 years in Housekeeping, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership role within a reputable 5-star hotel brand.
- Education: A degree or diploma in Hotel Management from a premier institute is mandatory.
- Personality: You must possess a smart, polished personality. We are looking for a leader who carries themselves with the poise and confidence required in a luxury environment.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are non-negotiable. You must be able to influence stakeholders and connect effortlessly with international guests.
- Eye for Detail: An uncompromising eye for the finer things—from the thread count of the linens to the placement of a floral arrangement.
