Role Description The Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to ensure that guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are consistently clean, safe, and well-maintained. This full-time, on-site role in Sawai Madhopur includes supervising housekeeping and laundry staff, creating schedules, assigning tasks, and monitoring performance and quality standards. The Executive Housekeeper manages inventory and ordering of linens, cleaning supplies, and guest amenities, and ensures that all procedures align with resort policies and health and safety regulations. The role involves training team members, conducting room and area inspections, addressing guest requests or concerns promptly, and collaborating with other departments to support a seamless guest experience. The Executive Housekeeper is also expected to support continuous improvement by updating procedures, implementing best practices, and contributing to the overall service culture of the resort.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong organization skills and the ability to manage scheduling, task allocation, and inventory control.
- Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and interacting with guests and other departments.
- Candidates should possess customer service skills to handle guest requests, resolve issues, and maintain a high standard of guest satisfaction.
- Candidates should possess laundry management skills, including overseeing linen care, cleaning processes, and quality control.
- Candidates should possess training skills to onboard, mentor, and develop housekeeping and laundry staff.
- Relevant experience in housekeeping leadership within hotels or resorts, with a track record of managing teams and maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and familiarity with housekeeping equipment and cleaning products.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by resort operations.
- Diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
