<div>Executive Home Care (EHC) in Conway, AR, is hiring Companion Caregivers to offer non-medical support and companionship to clients in their homes, year-round. This role focuses primarily on social interaction and light household assistance.</div><div>

<br>Responsibilities:<br><br>
</div><ul>
<li>Spend quality time with clients through meaningful conversations, reading aloud, playing games, or sharing hobbies to combat loneliness and stimulate mental well-being.</li>
<li>Provide safe transportation and companionship to appointments, social outings, community events, or for errands as in grocery shopping.</li>
<li>Provide cheerful company during mealtimes and assist with light meal planning and preparation to ensure clients have access to nutritious food.</li>
<li>Help maintain a comfortable living environment with light housekeeping, tidying, and organizing.</li>
<li>Gently remind clients to take medications according to their prescribed schedules.</li>
<li>Encourage and participate in hobbies, puzzles, walks, or other activities that bring joy and engagement to our clients.</li>
<li>Observe and report any notable changes in clients' demeanor, routines, or well-being to the care team promptly and accurately document your visits and observations.</li>
<li>Assist with activities of daily living such as dressing, bathing, mobility, etc as needed by client.<br><br>
</li>
</ul><div>Qualifications:</div><ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.</li>
<li>Previous experience in a companion role, volunteering, or simply caring for an elderly loved one is preferred.</li>
<li>Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.</li>
<li>A compassionate and empathetic attitude.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively within a team environment and follow care plan guidelines accordingly.</li>
<li>Shifts available:<ul>
<li>Days: <ul><li>8a-5p</li></ul>
</li>
<li>Nights:<ul><li>7p-1a</li></ul>
</li>
</ul>
