Job Description

• Manage and supervise Gate In / Gate Out activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
• Ensure minimum truck turnaround time and avoid traffic congestion at the gate.
• Handle Import, Export, and Allotment documentation on a requirement basis.
• Oversee Weighbridge (WB) operations and ensure WB calibration compliance as per statutory and operational requirements.
• Plan and manage Gate & Weighbridge operator staffing, including training, upskilling, and shift availability.
• Conduct regular toolbox meetings with Gate and WB staff to address safety, process adherence, and operational updates.
• Coordinate with and conduct performance review meetings with vendors to evaluate service quality and compliance.
• Resolve gate-related operational queries and exceptions on priority.
• Maintain accurate records related to:
• Seal mismatch
• Container damage
• Scanning clean and mismatch cases
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety norms, and operational compliance at all times.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance gate efficiency and service levels
• Strong experience in handling gate operations and large operational teams.
• Good knowledge of Import, Export, and Allotment processes
• Ability to manage high-pressure operational environments with strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external vendors.
• Working knowledge of compliance, documentation accuracy, and operational controls.
