Key Responsibilities
- Shipment Coordination
- Coordinate with CHA, shipping lines, transporters, and internal teams
- Track import shipments (Air / Sea / LCL / FCL)
- Ensure timely clearance and delivery to plant
- Preparation of Eway bills for all Import shipments.
- Customs Clearance
- Follow up for BOE filing, assessment, and Out of Charge (OOC)
- Ensure proper documentation (Invoice, Packing List, BL/AWB, COO, etc.) is circulated to respective CHA's
- Coordinate for duty payment.
- Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain shipment-wise documentation and records
- Handle schemes like RODTEP / SIMS / Advance License (if applicable)
- Transport & Delivery Management
- Ensure timely delivery to plant with proper documentation
- Coordinate for gate entry, unloading, and POD collection
- Reporting
- Maintain and share reports :
- SIMS / SARAL SIMS data
- RODTEP utilization
- Pending shipment tracker
Billing : -
Vendors invoice bookings in JD ERP system.
Required Skills
- Good knowledge of import/export procedures
- Understanding of customs regulations and documentation
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills
- Proficiency in MS Excel and email communication
Experience
- 3–4 years in logistics / CHA / freight forwarding
- Experience in handling manufacturing clients preferred
Education
- Any Graduates
- any additional responsibility JD may assign internally as per there requirement.
