About the Company: Lufthansa Technik Services India (LTSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Technik AG (LHT) of Germany. Founded in 2005 and based in Bengaluru, our 400+ team delivers value-added services to Lufthansa Technik’s Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) spectrum for all common commercial aircraft types (Airbus, Boeing, Embraer). LTSI specializes in customer service, supply chain management, digital and engineering services, procurement, airfreight and financial services for the aviation industry.
About the Role: Responsible for smooth commercial execution and operational customer service related to MRO orders thereby ensuring adherence to committed TAT and service quality.
Responsibilities:
- Independently manage the customer relationship at operational level by handling all process related customer inquiries in an efficient manner.
- Successfully induct customers’ unit in shop for repair and ensure quality internal and external communication and transfer of information.
- Create cost estimates for contracted/non-contracted repairs with adherence to contracted/binding rates and services and further process customer‘s approval in timely and accurate manner.
- Work in and with various LHT systems and ensure well-maintained customer information database.
- Work independently on loans, sales and 1:1 exchanges.
- Ensure perfect functioning of customer interface by proactively working to resolve claims and discrepancies.
- Responsible for TAT fulfillment and supporting performance level reporting & quality management system.
- Initiate, coordinate and track shipments in cooperation with LTL and resolve logistics clarification as and when they arise.
- Identify and manage revenue opportunities within his/her scope of responsibilities, ensure correct cost booking, and in time invoicing of all cases-including mishandling, modification and scrap.
- Participate in all customer communication, meetings or conference calls, involving various LHT departments.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Engineering and / or Business Administration
- 1-3 years of experience in Aviation/MRO/AME
- Working knowledge of SAP would be an added advantage
- Should have good analytical and problem solving skills
- Cost & quality conscious, detail oriented and should have good business sense
- Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
- Sound knowledge of supply chain in aviation and MRO industry is a plus.
