Role Description
This full-time, on-site Executive Chef role is for a restaurant based in the Pune Division. The Executive Chef will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, developing innovative menus, maintaining high food quality standards, and supervising kitchen staff. The role will encompass training junior chefs, ensuring adherence to food safety regulations, and controlling costs related to inventory and food waste. The Executive Chef will collaborate with the management team to maintain operational efficiency, refine culinary offerings, and enhance the overall dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Expertise in menu development, recipe creation, and food presentation
- Strong leadership and team management skills to mentor and supervise kitchen staff
- Thorough knowledge of food safety standards, kitchen hygiene, and culinary best practices
- Experience in inventory management and cost control, including portioning and waste reduction
- Capability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and deliver consistent results
- Prior experience in a similar role, preferably in fine dining or high-end hospitality settings
- Formal culinary training or degree in Culinary Arts is highly preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Passion for creating innovative culinary experiences
