Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Executive Chef based in Hyderabad. The Executive Chef will oversee kitchen operations, manage culinary staff, curate innovative menus, and ensure that food quality and safety standards are adhered to. The role involves overseeing food preparation, inventory management, introducing new dishes, and ensuring the consistency of taste and presentation. They will collaborate with the management team to plan and execute food festivals and maintain the Barbeque Nation’s tradition of exceptional dining experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in culinary arts, including menu creation and recipe development
- Strong team management and leadership capabilities, with the ability to train and mentor kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and inventory control
- Experience in planning and executing events, such as food festivals, is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with both kitchen staff and management
- Passion for experimenting with flavors and introducing innovative dishes
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role; previous experience in casual dining or Hotel is an advantage
