Purpose of the Role
The Executive – Business Development (BD) will drive business growth by building and nurturing strong relationships with architects in the building materials industry. The role requires a dynamic, result-oriented professional with 1–3 years of experience, a good understanding of architectural design and construction, and the ability to leverage industry connections to generate business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with architects and architectural firms.
- Ensure consistent engagement and a positive rapport with key industry stakeholders.
- Business Development
- Act as the primary point of contact between the company and architects.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with architects and construction firms.
- Networking
- Regularly connect with architects to expand the professional network.
- Participate in industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance visibility and partnerships.
- Industry Awareness
- Stay updated on industry trends, innovations in building materials, and architectural needs.
- Use insights to offer relevant solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Sales & Revenue Generation
- Generate business through strong relationships with architects and construction firms.
Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
- Negotiation & Closure
- Negotiate commercial terms and close deals effectively.
- Ensure smooth execution of projects while meeting client expectations.
- Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, product, and customer support teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Ensure seamless coordination for project execution and client satisfaction.
- Reporting & Performance Tracking
- Monitor sales performance and relationship progress.
- Share regular updates and insights with senior management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Graduate (preferably in Business, Marketing, or related field)
- Experience: 1–3 years in Business Development / Relationship Management, preferably in architecture, construction, or building materials industry
- Proven experience in handling architect relationships is preferred
