Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Executive – Billing and Reconciliation role based in Mumbai. The role involves managing end-to-end billing processes, including preparing, reviewing, and issuing accurate invoices in line with client contracts, campaign deliverables, and internal policies. The Executive will handle reconciliation of accounts, tracking payments, resolving billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely collections in coordination with finance and account management teams. Daily responsibilities include maintaining up-to-date billing records, analyzing variances, supporting internal and external audits, and generating regular reports on billing status and revenue recognition. The role also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to clarify billing details, respond to client queries, and continuously improve billing workflows and documentation.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in billing operations and billing process management, including end-to-end invoicing and reconciliation.
- Solid finance knowledge with the ability to interpret financial data and support revenue and receivables tracking.
- Well-developed analytical skills to identify discrepancies, analyze trends, and recommend process improvements.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and addressing client billing queries clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools and billing/ERP software; experience with media or advertising industry billing is an advantage.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple accounts and deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles and familiarity with reconciliation and audit processes.
