Role Description The Executive Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, supporting the smooth functioning of Chinmaya Mission Mumbai’s programs and operations. The role includes coordinating meetings, events, and classes; managing schedules and documentation; and liaising with acharyas, committee members, volunteers, and external stakeholders. The Executive Associate will assist with communications, preparation of reports and presentations, and follow-up on action items to ensure timely completion of tasks. Additional responsibilities may include handling basic administrative tasks, supporting project planning and execution, and contributing to initiatives that enhance member and participant experience.
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, including scheduling, documentation, and follow-up.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with spiritual leaders, volunteers, and devotees/members.
- Ability to manage events and programs, including planning, logistics, and on-ground coordination.
- Proficiency with office productivity tools (email, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations) and social media skills for instagram, facebook, mass-mailing & data management.
- Capacity to work independently, prioritize tasks, and handle multiple responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated interest in spiritual, social, or community service work; prior experience in nonprofits or educational organizations is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline preferred; relevant experience in administration or coordination roles will be valued.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and a service-oriented mindset aligned with Chinmaya Mission’s values.
