Executive Assistant to the Founder

About the Role
Aparna runs a fast-moving consumer brand at an inflection point. This role exists to protect her time, extend her bandwidth, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks - so she can stay focused on the decisions only she can make.
This is not a scheduling job. It is a high-trust, high-proximity role for someone who thinks ahead, operates with discretion, and takes ownership seriously.
What You Will Own
Calendar & Time Management
- Own Aparna's calendar end-to-end - prioritize ruthlessly, protect deep work time, and ensure every meeting has a clear purpose
- Anticipate scheduling conflicts before they happen and resolve them without escalation
Communication & Correspondence
- Manage founder inbox: triage, draft responses, flag what needs attention and when
- Be the first point of contact for external stakeholders - represent the founder professionally at all times
- Prepare briefing notes before key meetings so Aparna walks in fully prepped
Execution & Follow-Through
- Track open threads, action items, and commitments - ensure nothing is dropped
- Coordinate across internal teams (brand, growth, NPD) on founder-led priorities
- Handle logistics for travel, events, brand activations, and investor meetings
Research & Decision Support
- Pull together quick research, competitive snapshots, or market reads when needed
- Prepare decks, summaries, or talking points on short notice
Operational Support
- Manage logistics where required - travel bookings, vendor coordination, appointments
- Handle sensitive information with complete discretion, always
Who This Role Is For
You have 2–5 years of experience supporting a senior leader, founder, or CXO - ideally in a startup or consumer brand environment.
You are:
- Several steps ahead at all times - you anticipate, not just react
- Discreet by instinct - you understand what to share, what to hold, and when
- A strong writer - emails, briefs, and messages that go out under your name (or hers) are crisp and clear
- Calm under pressure - when things move fast or plans change, you adapt without drama
- Deeply organized - you run on systems, not memory
