Job description:-
This is a key role, supporting the work of Dev Group of Companies at the most senior level. Reporting to the Managing Director you will be required to:
1 Support the day to day work of the Managing Director
2 Service Dev Groups senior management team meetings
3 Willing to work across multiple roles
You will have access to confidential information, requiring absolute discretion at all times.
DPPL, is a busy organisation and therefore the ability to organise and prioritize tasks is a key requirement.
You will have demonstrable experience of working at a similar level and proven administrative, secretarial and office skills.
You will need to be able to plan, organize anticipate requirements well in advance to support the smooth running of the business.
You will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Managing Director's work including appointments and the diary, travel and accommodation as required in addition to managing dates, producing agendas, minutes and all key paperwork for meetings.
You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be experienced at dealing with a range of external stakeholders including DPPL, key client groups, with industry and business support at local, regional, national & International levels.
This role works across the organisation to ensure that the company operates intelligently and strategically.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants must be able to demonstrate understanding, experience and ability as follows:
Essential:
1 You will have demonstrable experience of working in a similar role at a comparable level in a company.
2 Have an understanding of the requirements and implications of working to a Managing Director.
3 IT literacy; experience of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
4 Excellent administration and secretarial skills.
5 Excellent English & Hindi,verbal and written both communication skills.
Desirable:
1 An understanding of the statutory responsibilities of running a company.
2 An understanding of the operation, application and accountability of public funds.
3 Experience of companies that work in partnership as well as competition.
4 Event organization.
She is to maintain an up-to-date consolidated management overview of projects and/or contracts performance.
Key Roles & Responsibilities of The MD's Technical Assistant Includes.
Provide input to technical studies/research projects, technical reports, project planning reports, etc. to be presented to the MD.
Attend meetings with the MD, responding to technical inquiries as appropriate; present tec e able to provide recommendation to the MD on both existing and potential contractors/vendors.
Track projects and the decision-making process for projects that require board and top-level committee approvals (e.g., board committees) and ensure that the relevant information for the committee to make an informed decision is readily available.
Aid the MD in the development, coordination, and implementation of strategic plans of the company and its affiliates.
Prepare dashboard for the entire business representing the organizational progress of the company with regards to each department's ongoing respective projects, highlighting the positives and negatives and reporting performance to the Managing Director on timely basis.
Attend and contribute to meetings on behalf of Managing Director, reporting back and follow up if required.
Assist the MD in collation and presentation of monthly departmental budget performance and other reports.
Ensures proper and timely follow-up on reports from units, departments, and divisions.
Research for, and preparation of speeches and presentations in a variety of formats to support the activities of the MD.
Develop and maintains technical databases and spreadsheets.
Work with the EA to the MD to ensure that the MD schedule of activities are fully coordinated and aligned to ensure optimal utilization of the MD time and resources.
Maintain effective and comprehensive electronic & paper filing systems to ensure efficient flow of correspondence and documentation.
Regular interface with the Project Management Team and Technical Planners of the company to ensure that MD is kept up to date on the progress of the company's ongoing technical projects.
Must be prepared Local/international travel sometime as a very short notice required by the MD.
Act as the focal point for requests for information that requires knowledge of the leadership structure and how the different roles in the organization are connected.
Facilitate the development of corporate and functional business strategies to align with the business direction and vision of the company.
Provide management oversight for the development of integrated engineering blueprints and plans.
Qualifications
- Strong project management and organizational skills, including planning and execution of infrastructure projects.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities for coordinating with clients and team members.
- Technical skills in telecom infrastructure development, including knowledge of current technology and industry standards.
- Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail to maintain high-quality project outcomes.
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment within a team-oriented structure.
- Educational qualifications in engineering, telecom, or a related field are preferred.
- Prior experience in telecom infrastructure projects or a similar industry is an advantage.
- Strong commitment to health, safety, and regulatory compliance in project execution.
