Job details:
About The Role
The founder’s office sits at the centre of everything - brand, retail, product, marketing, people.
Which means this role is not about “assisting.” It’s about creating clarity, protecting time, and ensuring things move forward. Some days, that means structuring a chaotic calendar.Other days, it means stepping into a project and bringing it back on track.
It’s a role for someone who is as comfortable with details as they are with ambiguity.
If you’re someone who naturally brings order to chaos…
who doesn’t wait to be told what to do…
and who finds satisfaction in making things actually move—this role might be for you.
This is not a typical Executive Assistant role.
It sits at the intersection of
execution, ownership, and momentum — working directly with the founder.
What You’ll Do
- Own time and priorities
- Manage the founder’s calendar across multiple teams and priorities
- Ruthlessly prioritise what matters vs what doesn’t
- Anticipate conflicts and solve for them before they show up
- Bring structure and follow-through
- Track key projects across brand, retail, product, and marketing
- Create simple trackers, notes, and action plans
- Follow up consistently so nothing important slips
- Run the founder’s office like a system
- Prepare for meetings (context, agendas, materials)
- Capture decisions clearly and ensure execution
- Build lightweight processes that reduce chaos
- Drive momentum (EA+ layer)
- Step into key initiatives when needed
- Coordinate across teams to unblock and move things forward
- Support with research, basic analysis, or execution
- Be a trusted extension of the founder
- Communicate with clarity, warmth, and precision
- Represent intent accurately across teams
- Think ahead, anticipate needs, and act without waiting
Who This Is For
You’ll do well here if:
- You have 4–6 years of experience in a fast-paced environment
- You are highly organised, but not rigid
- You have strong ownership — things don’t fall through when you’re involved
- You are detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
- You communicate clearly and thoughtfully
- You are calm under pressure and comfortable with pace and ambiguity
Bonus If You
- Have worked in a founder’s office / startup / business operations role
- Come from consulting or high-ownership roles with strong execution bias
- Have an interest in consumer brands, retail, or D2C businesses
- Love pets (this helps here more than you’d think)
What This Role Is Not
- It’s not just calendar management
- It’s not passive support
- It’s not a purely strategic or advisory role
If you’re looking for a role that is only strategy without execution, this may not be the right fit.
