Position: Head – Executive Assistant to CEO

Who we are
The NS Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL) is IIM Bangalore’s startup hub and incubation centre. The centre is structured as a section-8 not-for-profit entity.
NSRCEL’s mission is to support ventures in the start-up ecosystem that demonstrate potential to create significant economic and societal impact. This financial year alone NSRCEL has engaged with 1106 ventures through 13 unique program tracks across 82 towns in the country.
NSRCEL is supported by Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. NSRCEL has partners with corporates like Alstom, Capgemini, Goldman Sachs, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Maruti Suzuki, Pernod Ricard India Foundation and SBI Foundation, among others to support idea stage and early-revenue stage entrepreneurs and startups in focussed themes of climate-tech, women entrepreneurship, and social impact.
What you will be doing
You will provide high-level administrative, coordination and execution support to the CEO, enabling effective management of priorities, stakeholders and strategic initiatives. The role requires strong ownership, discretion and the ability to operate across a fast-paced incubation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Responsibilities
- Manage the CEO calendar, meetings, appointments and priorities.
- Coordinate internal and external meetings, ensuring appropriate preparation and follow-ups.
- Prepare briefing notes, presentations and relevant background material.
- Track key commitments, deadlines and action items arising from meetings.
- Schedule and coordinate leadership and cross-functional meetings.
- Prepare agendas and circulate pre-reads.
- Record key decisions and action items.
- Maintain an action tracker and follow up with owners until closure.
- Coordinate visits, delegations, partner meetings and important ecosystem engagements.
- Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive information and communications.
- Support preparation of leadership reviews and management meetings.
- Identify pending decisions, dependencies and areas requiring escalation.
- Coordinate participation in conferences, demo days, investor meetings, startup events and institutional engagements.
- Maintain a structured database of key ecosystem stakeholders and relationships.
- Support preparation of founder/company briefs, partner profiles and meeting notes.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, accommodation, itineraries and logistics.
- Manage participation in conferences, institutional visits and ecosystem events.
- Coordinate travel and logistics for important visitors and stakeholders when required.
- Take ownership of projects assigned by the CEO/Director.
- Conduct research, coordinate with stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
- Support new initiatives, organisational projects and strategic interventions.
- Work independently on time-sensitive and high-priority assignments.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, accommodation, itineraries and logistics.
- Manage participation in conferences, institutional visits and ecosystem events.
- Coordinate travel and logistics for important visitors and stakeholders when required.
- Conduct research, coordinate with stakeholders and drive projects to completion.
- Support new initiatives, organisational projects and strategic interventions.
- Work independently on time-sensitive and high-priority assignments.

What you will need to bring to the table
You will ideally:
- 5–8 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Executive Business Partner, Program/Project Coordinator or similar role.
- Experience working with a startup, incubator, accelerator, VC/PE firm, consulting organization, Bachelor’s / Master’s or entrepreneurial ecosystem would be an advantage.
- Experience sup.porting CXOs, founders, CEOs or senior institutional leadership is preferred.
- Be a self-starter, have a bias for action
