Job Description
Executive Assistant – Strategy & Analytics
Role Summary
The Executive Assistant – Strategy & Analytics serves as a strategic partner to the
Resident Coordinator (RC), providing analytical insight, structured decision support, and
high-level coordination across key initiatives.
This role goes beyond administrative support and focuses on research, data analysis,
performance tracking, policy review, stakeholder coordination, and executive-level
reporting. The incumbent will act as a thought partner to the RC, ensuring informed
decision-making through rigorous analysis and structured information management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic & Analytical Support
· Conduct in-depth research, policy analysis, and background reviews to inform
high-level meetings, missions, and engagements.
· Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to generate insights, identify trends, and
flag potential risks or opportunities.
· Develop dashboards and tracking tools to monitor strategic priorities,
commitments, and cross-functional initiatives.
· Prepare analytical briefing notes, executive summaries, and decision-support
documents.
· Consolidate multi-stakeholder inputs into coherent reports and strategic updates.
· Support preparation of annual reports, programme reviews, and institutional
performance documentation.
2. Executive Coordination & Follow-Through
· Track action points from high-level meetings and ensure structured follow-up
across teams.
· Coordinate inter-agency or cross-departmental inputs for policy papers, reports,
and joint initiatives.· Prioritize and manage the RC’s schedule based on strategic importance and
emerging developments.
· Prepare comprehensive briefing packs including context notes, background data,
and stakeholder mapping.
· Draft high-level correspondence, speeches, talking points, and meeting minutes
with analytical clarity.
3. Information & Knowledge Management
· Design and maintain organized data repositories and digital filing systems
(TEAMS/SharePoint).
· Standardize documentation processes to improve efficiency and accessibility.
· Maintain stakeholder databases and track engagement history.
· Document methodologies and data sources used in analysis to ensure
transparency and continuity.
4. Institutional Support & Representation
· Represent the RC Office in coordination meetings when required.
· Support preparation and organization of institutional events, consultations, and
strategic workshops.
· Provide structured briefings to internal teams to ensure alignment on priorities
and messaging.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Public Administration,
International Relations, Data Analytics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
· 5–8 years of progressively responsible experience in analytical roles, executive
advisory support, programme coordination, or strategy functions.
· Experience working with senior leadership or in international/multi-stakeholder environments
is strongly desirable.
· Demonstrated experience in data analysis, reporting, and executive briefing
preparation.
