Kaushikee Mahila Milk Producer Company Limited (KMMPC), established on September 22, 2017, aims to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to women milk producers across the districts of Saharsa, Supaul, Madhepura, and Khagaria. The company operates Milk Pooling Points (MPPs) in 800 villages, which are equipped with modern milk collection and testing infrastructure, ensuring a fair and transparent system. KMMPC focuses on developing a robust dairy value chain by organizing milk producers into a member-owned company, with the objective of promoting fair milk procurement practices, timely payments, and improved productivity. Additionally, the company offers training, technical input services, and access to organized markets to safeguard the interests of dairy farmers.
Role Description
The Executive Area Operation will oversee and manage daily operational activities at the field level, ensuring the smooth functioning of Milk Pooling Points (MPPs). Responsibilities include coordinating with milk producers, supervising milk procurement processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and managing logistical operations from MPPs to bulk milk coolers. The role involves training and capacity-building activities for stakeholders, ensuring fair and transparent transactions, and facilitating timely payments to members. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Supaul.
Qualifications
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills to engage with milk producers and ensure stakeholder collaboration
- Hands-on experience in Operations and Operations Management to streamline workflows and ensure efficiency
- Proficiency in Analytical Skills for data evaluation and process optimization
- Ability to multi-task, work independently, and manage field operations effectively
- Relevant educational qualifications, such as a degree in Dairy Technology, Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field
- Experience in rural or dairy development projects will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in local language(s) and knowledge of the region is desirable
