About the EmployerOur client is a fast-growing House of Brands building and scaling B2C, B2B, D2C and omnichannel brands across multiple industries and consumer categories in multiple countries.
As part of their continued expansion, they are looking for an experienced Executive – Private Label & Contract Manufacturing to identify, develop, and manage manufacturing partnerships across pharmaceutical and nutraceutical categories.
Position SummaryThe Executive – Private Label & Contract Manufacturing will be responsible for identifying suitable manufacturers, developing private-label products, negotiating commercial terms, and managing the complete contract manufacturing lifecycle from manufacturer identification through product development, production, quality, and delivery.
The ideal candidate should have 4+ years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical contract/private-label manufacturing and, most importantly, an established network of reliable manufacturers, suppliers, and industry contacts.
This role is suited to someone who already understands the manufacturing ecosystem and can quickly identify the right manufacturing partners for new products and categories.
Key ResponsibilitiesContract Manufacturing & Private Label- Identify and develop pharmaceutical and nutraceutical contract manufacturing partners.
- Source manufacturers based on product requirements, formulation capabilities, MOQ, pricing, capacity, certifications, and production capabilities.
- Build and maintain a strong network of reliable manufacturers across relevant product categories.
- Evaluate and shortlist manufacturers for new product requirements.
- Coordinate private-label product development from concept to commercial production.
- Work with manufacturers on formulation, samples, specifications, packaging, MOQ, pricing, and production timelines.
Vendor Development & Negotiation- Develop long-term relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Negotiate product pricing, MOQs, payment terms, lead times, packaging costs, and other commercial terms.
- Compare manufacturers and commercial proposals to identify the most competitive options.
- Evaluate manufacturer capabilities, quality systems, capacity, certifications, and track record.
- Resolve manufacturing, quality, pricing, and delivery-related issues.
Product Development- Coordinate with internal Brand, Product Development, Quality, Regulatory, Packaging, and Marketing teams to convert product requirements into manufacturing briefs.
- Identify suitable existing formulations and private-label opportunities.
- Coordinate samples, product trials, revisions, and approvals with manufacturers.
- Support new product launches by ensuring manufacturing readiness and timelines.
Production & Supply Coordination- Coordinate purchase orders and production schedules with manufacturing partners.
- Track production progress, quality approvals, packaging, and dispatch.
- Ensure products are delivered according to agreed specifications, quantities, timelines, and commercial terms.
- Monitor manufacturer performance and continuously improve supplier relationships.
Market & Manufacturer Network- Maintain an updated database of pharmaceutical and nutraceutical manufacturers.
- Continuously identify new manufacturing partners and emerging manufacturing capabilities.
- Track market developments, product categories, manufacturing capabilities, and cost trends.
- Leverage industry relationships to identify opportunities, manufacturers, and product innovations.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate should have:
- 4+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or nutraceutical contract manufacturing/private-label manufacturing.
- Existing relationships with pharmaceutical and/or nutraceutical manufacturers.
- A demonstrable network of manufacturers capable of producing different product formats and categories.
- Strong understanding of private-label and third-party manufacturing processes.
- Experience negotiating with manufacturers on pricing, MOQ, specifications, payment terms, and timelines.
- Experience taking products from manufacturer identification through sampling, production, and commercial supply.
- Strong commercial understanding and supplier negotiation skills.
Required Qualifications- Relevant experience in Pharma/Nutraceutical contract manufacturing is mandatory.
- Additional qualification in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Business Management is an advantage.
