Job details:
Experience: Above 10 years’ experience overall and 3 to 5 years’ experience in handling PMO function.
Travel: Appx. 10% depending on the job need.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure project governance – Organization’s rules, processes, and workflows are defined.
- Provide correct data to all stakeholders so that the correct decision is made on time
- Create & maintain knowledge repository (lessons learnt, best practices etc)
- Review QMS documents & workflow and modify the documents as per the need.
- Setting the project budget, monitor project financials and highlight the deviations
- Prepare management reports
- Monitor risk identification & mitigation actions of project management team
- Monitor resource utilization & resource augmentation needs
- Compile BU financials and conduct Operation Review Meeting (ORM), highlighting the achievements of previous month’s financial results and provide the plan for subsequent months.
- Track unbilled revenue and track the liquidation plan given the project managers.
- Coordinate with corporate planning team to plan, monitor & track the achievements against organization’s growth initiatives
- Compute manhour rate for the financial year and coordinate with finance team for updating in SAP
- Review with the project managers cost overrun, de-booking, AR write-off and obtain necessary management approvals
- Compute Capex Budget for IT items and obtain approval from stakeholders
- Coordinate with Sales team for OI booking plan and compute necessary ST against orders forecasted by Sales team
- Work with Sales team, PM & EM on new pursuits and ensure that new orders are technically and commercially meeting Yokogawa norms. Ensure to book the orders for
- Compute executable backlog conversion.
Preferred Qualifications and skills :
- Experience in managing projects in similar industries or with comparable project types, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
- PMP certification
- Holding advanced certifications such as PgMP, Six Sigma, or Agile certifications, or having completed leadership training programs to enhance project management skills.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies, AI tools, automation solutions, or industry-specific software that can drive project efficiency and innovation.
- Demonstrated experience in scaling operations, managing projects in global markets, or implementing process improvements that significantly impact project outcomes.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, problem-solving capabilities, adaptability to change, and effective leadership qualities.
- In-depth understanding of project management methodologies, regulatory compliance requirements, and business acumen to drive the success of industrial automation projects.
