Executive – Compliance Operations

Position Summary
As an Executive – Compliance Operations at PayGlocal Technologies Private Limited, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth, compliant, and accurate payment operations within the organization. The role involves invoice validation, remitter screening, transaction monitoring, reconciliation, and coordination with banks and internal stakeholders to ensure timely settlements and merchant payouts. You will be responsible for maintaining operational efficiency while ensuring adherence to internal controls, regulatory guidelines, and defined turnaround times (TAT). By proactively identifying discrepancies, resolving transaction issues, and maintaining accurate records, you will help minimize financial risks, prevent revenue leakage, and support a seamless merchant payment experience.
This role is critical in strengthening PayGlocal’s payment operations framework while supporting growing transaction volumes and increasing compliance requirements in the cross-border payments ecosystem..
What will you work on?
- Invoice Validation: Validate invoices by verifying remitter name, remitter address, and invoice amount Remitter Screening: Conduct remitter screening in accordance with compliance guidelines and promptly escalate any identified red flags to the reporting manager.
- Transaction Monitoring: Monitor daily transaction processing and ensure successful settlements for MCA transactions.
- Failed Transaction Management: Track rejected or failed transactions and ensure timely resolution.
- Merchant Payouts: Manage merchant payouts while ensuring adherence to defined turnaround times (TAT).
- Bank Coordination: Follow up with banks for pending transaction approvals, documentation, and settlement updates.
- Billing Data Management: Maintain and validate billing-related data including MCA records, annexures, settlement files, and transaction records.
- Reconciliation & Reporting: Analyze reconciliation reports and highlight discrepancies for resolution.
- Finance Support: Support the Finance team with settlement reports, documentation, and reconciliation details.
- Operational Coordination: Send reminders or escalations to banks and internal stakeholders when required and participate in operational sync-up calls to provide updates on transaction status.
- Compliance Adherence: Ensure strict adherence to internal controls, compliance policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to finance automation initiatives, ERP implementation support, and SOP documentation.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Work closely with auditors, consultants, tax advisors, and internal business teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Commerce Graduate (B.Com or equivalent).
- Experience: 0–6 months of relevant experience in finance operations, payment operations, or compliance-related roles.
- Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in MS Excel and MS Outlook for reporting, tracking, and communication.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to validate financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse reconciliation reports and transaction data.
- Communication: Good written and verbal communication skills for coordination with banks and internal teams.
- Work Environment Fit: Ability to work in a fast-paced operations environment with strong attention to accuracy and timelines.
