API, Software & Integration Engineering

Summary of the Role:

We're expanding our core engineering team in Taguig City and seeking passionate API & Integration Software Engineers / Architects to build, support, and evolve our market-leading SaaS Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform. This is a critical role for individuals who thrive on designing scalable backend systems, orchestrating complex API workflows, ensuring seamless integrations with enterprise systems, and providing expert technical guidance to customers and internal teams. What You Will Do:

• Design & Develop APIs: Engineer secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services using C# and the latest .NET frameworks (ASP.NET Core), focusing on microservices architecture.
• Implement Orchestration & Composition: Create sophisticated API orchestration workflows and composite APIs that coordinate multiple backend microservices and aggregate data from various sources to execute complex business transactions.
• Drive Integrations: Design, develop, and maintain robust integrations between our CLM platform and various enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, CPQ like Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Ariba, Coupa) using a mix of direct API integration and iPaaS tools (e.g., Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi).
• Provide Expert Support & Troubleshooting: Serve as a primary technical contact for customers and partners, assisting with their API integration efforts. Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to API integration, .NET applications, and network communication, utilizing tools like Fiddler or Postman.
• Architect Solutions: Lead the technical design of API and integration solutions, establishing and enforcing best practices for API security (OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, SAML), versioning, and documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger).
• Collaborate & Mentor: Work closely with product managers, architects, and other engineers to define API strategy and technical roadmaps. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members through code reviews and collaborative problem-solving.
• Optimize & Innovate: Proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues. Research, evaluate, and prototype new technologies and architectural patterns (e.g., event-driven architecture, message brokers like Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka).

What You Bring:

• Experience Range: We are hiring for multiple positions, welcoming candidates with 6+ years up to 12+ years of professional experience in backend software engineering, technical support, solution architecture, or a related field.
• Core Proficiency: Expert-level skills in the .NET framework (C#, ASP.NET Core).
• API Expertise: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, web services, common data formats (JSON, XML), and API design principles, patterns, and architectural styles.
• Database Knowledge: Strong proficiency with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL).
• Cloud Experience: Extensive hands-on experience developing and deploying applications on a major cloud platform, preferably Azure (App Services, Functions, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, AKS).
• Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex, distributed applications and integrated environments.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Mindset: A customer-centric approach, a DevOps mindset, and familiarity with Agile principles and tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Bonus Points: Prior experience with SaaS platforms, iPaaS tools (Jitterbit, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi), Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) products, or other enterprise SaaS/Legal Tech.
