Position Summary
As an SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development Consultant at Exalogic Consulting, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and optimizing the Succession & Development module within SAP SuccessFactors. You will collaborate with business leaders to develop and deploy solutions that align with the clients' talent management strategies, ensuring a seamless process for identifying high-potential employees, succession planning, and fostering development opportunities across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and configuration of the SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development module to support clients' succession planning and talent development strategies.
- Work closely with HR stakeholders to define succession planning strategies, career development processes, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Design and configure succession planning templates, talent pools, and career path frameworks within SuccessFactors.
- Help clients establish competency models and integrate them with development plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Support clients in configuring development plans, learning pathways, and employee profiles to enhance workforce development initiatives.
- Implement SAP SuccessFactors Talent Review processes, including talent calibration, performance and potential matrix, and succession planning.
- Lead the integration of Succession & Development with other SuccessFactors modules such as Employee Central, Performance & Goals, and Learning to ensure data consistency and streamline talent management processes.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions for HR teams to ensure the successful adoption and utilization of the Succession & Development module.
- Provide guidance on reporting and analytics, helping clients track and measure the effectiveness of succession plans, talent pools, and employee development initiatives.
- Offer post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement recommendations to ensure the system is optimized and meeting client needs.
- Stay updated with the latest trends in talent management, succession planning, and employee development practices.
- Lead the development of system documentation, user manuals, and best practices for the SuccessFactors Succession & Development module.
- Assist in pre-sales activities, including solution demos, RFP responses, and proposal development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience implementing SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development solutions, with hands-on experience in configuration and deployment.
- Deep understanding of succession planning, talent development, and employee growth strategies.
- Experience with Talent Pools, Succession Planning, Career Development, and Talent Reviews within SAP SuccessFactors.
- Strong knowledge of the integration between Succession & Development and other SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Employee Central, Performance & Goals, Learning).
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional SuccessFactors configurations.
- Strong expertise in setting up development plans, competencies, and employee development frameworks.
- Proven experience working with clients to implement talent management solutions in a variety of industries.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to lead workshops, training, and user acceptance testing (UAT) sessions.
- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors reporting and analytics capabilities (e.g., SuccessFactors Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud).
- SuccessFactors Succession & Development certification is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with 360-degree feedback, competency frameworks, and leadership development in the context of SAP SuccessFactors.
- Experience with cloud-based HR technology and talent management systems.
- Knowledge of organizational design, leadership talent pools, and workforce planning.
- Experience with other SuccessFactors modules (e.g., Performance & Goals, Learning, Compensation) is beneficial.
- Ability to work with global and diverse teams, managing complex, multi-country implementations.
