We are looking for a highly disciplined and execution-driven Operations & Supply Chain Manager, preferably with an Army/Defence background, to streamline operations, manage logistics, and ensure efficient supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, planning, and crisis-management capabilities.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management- Oversee daily operations and ensure smooth functioning across departments
- Implement SOPs and enforce process discipline across teams
- Monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement
- Handle escalations and ensure quick resolution
Supply Chain Management- Manage end-to-end supply chain including procurement, warehousing, and distribution
- Optimize inventory levels and reduce wastage
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners
- Ensure timely delivery and dispatch planning
Team Leadership- Lead and supervise operations teams with strict discipline and accountability
- Conduct regular training, performance reviews, and team briefings
- Instill a culture of ownership, punctuality, and execution excellence
Planning & Strategy- Develop operational strategies aligned with business goals
- Forecast demand and plan procurement accordingly
- Implement cost-control and efficiency improvement initiatives
Compliance & Risk Management- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements
- Maintain safety standards and operational protocols
- Handle crisis situations with structured decision-making
Key Requirements- Ex-Army / Defence personnel preferred (Logistics / Operations background)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations management
- Excellent planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
- High level of discipline, integrity, and accountability
- Ability to work in fast-paced and high-pressure environments
Preferred Skills- Inventory management systems / ERP knowledge
- Vendor management and negotiation skills
- Strong communication and reporting skills
