As the Front of House (FOH) Lead, you will be the on-shift right hand to the Taproom Experience Manager, ensuring smooth operations during your shifts. Your primary focus will be on supporting the team, providing exceptional service, and creating a welcoming and memorable taproom experience for guests. You will set the tone for your shifts by embodying everywhere’s values, mentoring the team, and upholding the highest standards of service and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patrons, providing beer recommendations, sharing product knowledge, and ensuring every guest feels welcomed.
- Address and resolve any on-shift guest concerns or special requests promptly and professionally.
- Team Leadership and Support:
- Act as the on-shift leader, guiding the FOH team to ensure efficient service delivery and excellent customer interactions.
- Train, mentor, and support FOH staff to maintain high standards of service and product knowledge.
- Lead by example with a positive attitude, professionalism, and commitment to creating a collaborative team environment.
- Communicate on-shift incidents or issues to management in a timely and appropriate manner
- Utilize communication channels to effectively disseminate information to team
- Shift Management:
- Oversee the deployment of staff during shifts, ensuring team members are positioned effectively to meet service demands.
- Organize and delegate opening, closing, and shift changeover duties.
- Ensure bar setup, maintenance, and cleanliness standards are met throughout the shift.
- Service Excellence:
- Monitor and manage the flow of the taproom, addressing operational challenges in real-time to maintain smooth service.
- Maintain a clean, inviting, and safe taproom environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Cash Handling:
- Ensure team adherence to proper cash handling, cash register policies, and procedures during shifts.
Minimum Job Requirements
- At least 21 years old
- Proven experience as a bartender with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role
- Regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
- Passion for building memorable guest experiences and solving problems
- Professionalism and positivity in interactions with co-workers, guests, and management
- Knowledge of draft beer systems, Toast POS, and taproom operations
- Availability to work weekends and holidays
- Certifications (or willingness to obtain within 90 days):
- Responsible Beverage Server (RBS) Training
- CA Harassment & Abusive Conduct Training
