Senior SRE Support Engineer

EverQuote is looking for a Senior SRE Support Engineer to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for supporting our SRE and DevOps teams in maintaining and improving our cloud infrastructure and critical systems. You will work closely with our engineering teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability of our production environment. Responsibilities: - Provide tier 2/3 support for critical production incidents and outages - Automate and improve existing monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes - Participate in on-call rotations and incident response efforts - Collaborate with engineering teams to plan and execute infrastructure changes and migrations - Research and implement new tools and technologies to improve observability, efficiency, and security - Document processes and train junior SRE/DevOps team members Requirements: - 5+ years of experience in a site reliability engineering or DevOps role - Proficient in Python, Bash, and other scripting languages - Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) - Strong understanding of containerization, orchestration, and CI/CD - Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible - Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Datadog, Prometheus, ELK, etc.) - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
