Job Summary:
The Resident Care Coordinator (RCC) is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the care of residents in an assisted living community. This role ensures that residents receive high-quality, individualized care while maintaining compliance with state regulations and company policies. The RCC works closely with caregivers, families, healthcare providers, and administrative staff to support residents’ health, safety, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor residents’ health status and update care plans as needed
- Coordinate care services, including medication management and wellness support
- Supervise and support caregiving staff to ensure quality care delivery
- Communicate regularly with residents, families, and healthcare providers
- Ensure compliance with state regulations and community policies
- Assist with resident admissions, transfers, and discharges
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records and documentation
- Respond to emergencies and ensure proper incident reporting
- Participate in care conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings
Qualifications:
- Experience in assisted living, senior care, or memory care
- Strong knowledge of resident care planning and regulatory compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership and team management experience
- Ability to multitask and respond effectively in a fast-paced environment
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Requirements:
- Arizona Certified Caregiver License (Required)
- Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Current CPR/First Aid certification
- Must show proof of freedom from TB before client contact
- Provide and maintain current Food Handlers Certification
- Clean driving record and valid driver’s license (preferred for transport duties)
- Clear the Department of Economic Security, Department of Aging and Adult Services Central Registry Background Check
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and assist with mobility as needed
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and compassion for individuals with special needs
