Description

Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Team Member to join our food production team. This role involves working collaboratively to prepare ready-to-eat food items, maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, and uphold food safety standards. As a Kitchen Team Member, you should be comfortable with hands-on tasks and adaptable to support both kitchen and warehouse operations as needed.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble ready-to-eat food products according to established procedures.
  • Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment regularly to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Organize kitchen inventory through proper rotation and stocking of items.
  • Wash, measure, and store food items in compliance with food safety regulations.
  • Assist with receiving deliveries, including offloading products from trucks.
  • Support the picking and organizing of finished products for delivery.
  • Occasionally assist the warehouse team with order picking and related tasks.
  • Follow directions from Kitchen Supervisors and the Kitchen Manager.
  • Participate in mandatory overtime during peak production periods.

Requirements

  •          Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  •          Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices (training provided).
  •          Physical ability to lift and move products (up to 25 lbs.).
  •          Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  •          Willingness to take on varied tasks as assigned.
