Key Responsibilities:
- Driver Safety Compliance: Monitor and audit driver behavior to ensure compliance with safety protocols, driving regulations, and company policies. Identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for training or corrective action.
- Footage Review: Review surveillance footage related to property or casualty claims to assess incidents, validate claims, and support potential investigations.
- Theft Audits: Conduct regular audits at customer locations where product shrinkage occurs, identifying causes and recommending solutions to minimize theft and protect inventory.
- Administration: Work closely with the operations and safety teams to track, report, and analyze incidents, ensuring timely resolution and preventative actions.
- Maintain detailed records of all audits, investigations, and corrective actions taken.
- Communicate findings to the operations and management teams and participate in creating action plans to mitigate future risks.
- Provide regular reports on driver safety performance, claim investigations, and spoilage trends.
Requirements
- Experience in auditing, asset protection, or compliance roles is preferred, ideally in logistics, transportation, or food service industries.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to review data, video footage, and reports to identify trends and areas of concern.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and standards, particularly those related to driving and transportation.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with incident tracking or auditing software is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings and recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
