Position Details
Designation: Mechanic
Location: Tanzania, East Africa
Experience Required: Minimum 8 Years
Salary Package: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 INR per month
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Mechanic with
strong exposure to hydraulic systems, heavy equipment, and construction
machinery maintenance for our projects in Tanzania, Africa. The candidate
should have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, preventive maintenance,
engine repair, and hydraulic equipment handling.
Key Responsibilities
· Perform maintenance and repair of hydraulic and
mechanical equipment
· Troubleshoot hydraulic system failures and
mechanical breakdowns
· Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance
activities
· Handle engine repair, tuning, overhauling, and
fault diagnosis
· Read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical
drawings/diagrams
· Maintain hydraulic pumps, cylinders, valves,
motors, and control systems
· Perform hydraulic hose routing, piping, and line
commissioning
· Conduct pressure testing and system performance
checks
· Support machine erection, installation, and site
commissioning activities
· Coordinate with site, workshop, and operations
teams for maintenance support
· Maintain spare parts records and maintenance
documentation
· Ensure safety procedures and SOP compliance
during maintenance work

Candidates should have experience in handling and
maintaining:
· Hydraulic drilling rigs

· Diesel engine-driven hydraulic equipment

· Batching plants
| · Boom placers

· Concrete pumps
|

Mandatory Requirement
- Valid
Passport (without expiry) is compulsory

Qualification
· ITI (Industrial Training Institute) – Mechanical
related trade preferred
Experience
· Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in
hydraulic and heavy equipment maintenance
Technical Skills
· Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems and
circuits
· Good troubleshooting and fault-finding
capability
· Experience in heavy construction equipment
maintenance
· Basic knowledge of welding, fitting, and
fabrication activities
· Understanding of maintenance safety standards
and SOPs
