Job Summary:**

Job Responsibilities:**
- Champion and integrate sustainable practices across all facets of business operations, from product development and supply chain to energy consumption and waste management.
- Lead initiatives to identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance environmental performance, social responsibility, and economic resilience.
- Develop and execute strategies for continuous improvement and adaptation to emerging technologies, market trends, and regulatory changes, ensuring Hitachi's enduring competitiveness.
- Collaborate with diverse stakeholders, including R&D, manufacturing, sales, and external partners, to foster a culture of sustainability and long-term vision.
- Monitor, analyze, and report on key sustainability metrics and performance indicators, identifying areas for growth and optimization.
- Drive thought leadership and knowledge sharing within the organization regarding best practices in sustainability, innovation, and future-proofing strategies.
- Contribute to the development of new business models and offerings that align with Hitachi's commitment to creating a sustainable future.
Job Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Sustainability Studies, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a role focused on sustainability, innovation, strategic planning, or business development, preferably within a large, multinational corporation.
- Demonstrated experience in driving and implementing successful sustainability initiatives and/or innovative projects.
- Strong understanding of global environmental regulations, ESG frameworks, and sustainable development goals.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate effectively with diverse teams and leadership levels.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for sustainability and a proactive, forward-looking mindset.
