About Sportball
Sportball is an international multi-sport program for children aged 16 months to 12 years, with a 30-year history across Canada, the USA and Singapore.
We are building a premium indoor Sportball facility on Golf Course Road, Gurgaon, and are looking for an energetic Birthday & Events Manager to own our birthday party and kids’ events experience from enquiry to execution.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves working around children, parents, celebrations and events and knows how to turn a birthday into an experience families remember.
What You’ll Own
🎂 Birthday Parties
- Handle birthday enquiries and convert them into bookings
- Understand each family’s requirements and help them plan their Sportball birthday
- Coordinate the complete birthday journey from booking to party day
- Manage schedules, guest requirements, food/cake coordination and event logistics
- Coordinate with Sportball coaches and the facility team for smooth execution
- Ensure the facility is party-ready before every event
- Be the primary point of contact for parents before and during the celebration
- Ensure every family receives a warm, premium and stress-free experience
🎉 Kids & Family Events
- Plan and execute kids’ events, holiday activities and special Sportball experiences
- Develop fun event concepts that bring more families into the facility
- Organise community events and collaborations for children and parents
- Work with schools, residential communities and kids’ brands on relevant events
- Help maximise use of the facility outside regular Sportball class hours
🤝 Partnerships & Growth
- Build relationships with birthday planners, kids’ brands, schools, communities and other relevant partners
- Identify opportunities for collaborations and events
- Help grow birthday and event revenue
- Generate referrals and repeat bookings through an exceptional parent experience
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Is warm, energetic and genuinely enjoys interacting with children and parents
- Has excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Is highly organised and comfortable managing multiple moving parts
- Can handle parents confidently and professionally
- Takes ownership instead of waiting for instructions
- Has strong attention to detail
- Can think commercially and understands that great experiences should also drive revenue
- Is comfortable working on weekends, when most birthdays and family events take place
Experience We’d Love
Experience in any of the following would be especially relevant:
- Kids’ play areas / indoor play centres
- Birthday party venues
- Family entertainment centres
- Kids’ activity centres
- Preschools or children’s enrichment centres
- Kids’ event companies
- Hospitality or premium event venues
- Sports or recreation facilities
Experience managing children’s birthday parties, parent relationships or kids-focused events would be a strong advantage.
The Person We’re Looking For
You don’t need to come from a traditional corporate events background.
We’re looking for someone who understands that when you’re hosting a child’s birthday, the details matter — the parent’s experience, the child’s excitement, the guests, the timing, the setup and how smoothly everything comes together.
