About the role
**Account Executive** Full-Time Bangalore 1.5 yr to 2 yrs **Position Overview**: We are seeking an Account Executive with B2B SaaS sales experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and closing deals . As an integral part of our sales team, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally to meet and exceed revenue targets while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction. You will report directly with the co-founder and work on setting up the sales process. **Key Responsibilities**: *Business Development*: Identify and prospect clients within the specified target range, leveraging existing networks, industry knowledge, and market research. *Sales Strategy*: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to penetrate target accounts, understanding their unique needs and aligning our solutions to address those pain points effectively. *Relationship Management*: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including C-suite executives, decision-makers, and influencers, to understand their business objectives and position our offerings as essential solutions. *Consultative Selling*: Employ a consultative sales approach, conducting thorough needs assessments, product demonstrations, and presentations to articulate the value proposition of our SaaS solutions effectively. *Deal Closure*: Drive the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure, ensuring a smooth transition to the customer success team for seamless implementation. *Collaboration and Reporting*: Work closely with the SDR, marketing, product, and customer success teams to communicate client feedback, market insights, and contribute to the continual improvement of our products and services. Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and performance reports. “We want to create a sales culture where the sales team is also technically sound on product. Every sales person should be capable of handling a complete product demo. ” -Hari Pragdish, Co founder at EventHQ Requirements: * Proven track record of success in B2B SaaS sales, preferably selling in the US region. We want someone between 1.5 to 2 yrs of sales experience. * Strong understanding of enterprise sales methodologies, solution selling, and complex sales cycles. * Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. * Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities. * Self-motivated, goal-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Compensation: * Salary : 15 LPA to 18 LPA (excluding ESOPS) * Split : 70% base salary & 30% sales commissions * Standard benefits like insurance etc Location : Koramangala, Bangalore Work : In person, no remote options available Shift & Timings: You will be the first sales hire, so we will work across timezones including US. US will be our primary. So, apply only if you are comfortable working across time zones.
