We're seeking an experienced Event Registration Specialist to join our comprehensive meetings and events program for a premier technology client. As an Event Registration Specialist at JLL, you will oversee event registration services for our events portfolio across the globe, including but not limited to website and mobile app creation, and attendee management. This role requires you to have a strong background in event registration management with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple high-profile events simultaneously.
This customer-facing role requires strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders while maintaining operational excellence through the implementation of global program standards.
Reporting to the Offsite Events Program Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end event registration requests while building and maintaining registration services and ensuring data integrity, directly contributing to JLL's mission of delivering exceptional client service through innovative event management solutions for our premier technology clients worldwide.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Manage end-to-end event registration requests while building and maintaining registration services and ensuring data integrity (approximately 70% of role)
- Build registration sites for websites and mobile apps including attendee emails and reporting, using templates to adhere to brand standards and maintain consistency, while testing and evaluating services prior to launch for accuracy and functionality
- Remain current on client's preferred technology stack while managing communications including invitations, confirmations, and updates (approximately 30% of role)
- Handle attendee inquiries and troubleshoot registration issues while overseeing on-site registration services for seamless attendee experiences
- Coordinate with event teams to ensure seamless attendee experiences while working flexibly across multiple time zones to accommodate international business hours
- Demonstrate registration platform expertise using Cvent, Attendee Hub, Splash, and other leading platforms for high-profile event management
- Manage multiple high-profile events simultaneously while maintaining strong project management and problem-solving abilities
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders while ensuring operational excellence through global program standards implementation
- Offering a consultative and collaborative approach to influence decision-making, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded
- Build strong customer relationships while gathering site requirements, sharing best practices recommending best practices and collaboratively developing creative solutions to address unique needs
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in event registration management, preferably in the technology sector with demonstrated registration platform expertise
- Proficiency with leading registration platforms (Cvent, Attendee Hub, Splash, other) and strong understanding of mobile app development for events
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities with proven track record of managing multiple high-profile events simultaneously
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with ability to build positive relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Experience creating and managing event registration websites with excellent attention to detail for data integrity maintenance
- Flexibility to work across multiple time zones and accommodate international business hours for global events portfolio
- Customer-facing experience with ability to handle attendee inquiries and troubleshoot registration issues effectively
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and make decisions confidently
- Demonstrates agility in addressing shifting business needs
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field or equivalent experience in event registration management
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS for website customization and familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
- Experience working on or part of an offsite corporate meetings and events with technology sector clients
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders in global corporate environments
- Knowledge of comprehensive meetings and events program delivery with operational excellence focus
- Understanding of premier technology client requirements and preferred technology stack management.
Location: Onsite based - Office 5 days per week (Bangalore/Hyderabad)
Work shift pattern: Flexible hours spanning EMEA and APAC time zones (12 Noon IST) to ensure global coverage and timely customer support across regions.
