We are now introducing major initiatives along with Launch of leading Sim-Racing hardware brands in India!
We seek to hire an accomplished Event & Project Manager who will be responsible for end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of the SIMR Ecosystem Initiatives meeting the fundamental business goals and activation standards across key Indian markets.
The ideal candidate is expected to be energetic, organized, and a decisive leader who is enthusiastic about sim-racing & motorsports and live event experiences. You will bring structure, passion, and high-quality execution to TECHXHUB's dynamic, hyper-growth sim-racing business. Experience in managing live events, gaming activations, or esports productions is preferable. Sim-Racers, Gamers and those with an understanding of the sim-racing ecosystem are highly desirable.
Responsibilities
• Own the master event plan for every SIMR Ecosystem Initiatives & activations — timelines, vendor coordination, venue plans, crew briefs, and post-event reports.
• Build and control event budgets, manage vendor purchase orders, track cost variances, and ensure financial accountability across every activation.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams (Operations, Technical, Content, Partnerships) and all external vendors including venue, sim-racing technical teams, AV teams, and catering.
• Liaise with city authorities, venue operators, and regulatory bodies to secure permits, NOCs, and compliance approvals ahead of every event.
• Serve as the single point of escalation on event day — managing risks, contingencies, and real-time problem solving across the full crew.
• Manage and brief the full freelance event crew of 15–18 people per activation including MC, marshals, logistics, and registration staff.
• Create pre- and post-event stakeholder reports covering footfall, sponsor deliverables, commercial outcomes, and operational learnings.
• Build, document, and iterate on event SOPs that enable scalable, consistent execution across multiple Indian cities.
• Collaborate with the SIMR.gg platform team on technical event configuration, format setup, and leaderboard management.
• Evaluate event performance data after each activation and drive continuous improvements across future events.
• Network within India's gaming, esports, and entertainment ecosystem to identify venues, partners, and local opportunities.
Qualifications
• High Energy and Enthusiastic Team Player with a proven background in event management, sim-racing, gaming or esports activations or Motorsports events.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize across multiple simultaneous workstreams.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, negotiating, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure live event environment.
• 3+ years of event or project management experience, preferably in gaming, esports, motorsport, or entertainment.
• Exceptional budget management and vendor coordination skills.
• Willingness to travel across India.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and deliver flawless experiences under tight timelines.
