Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Event Planner role based in Mumbai. The Event Planner will coordinate end-to-end planning and execution of meetings, conferences, corporate gatherings, and related hospitality experiences. Daily responsibilities include understanding client requirements, developing event concepts, preparing proposals, managing timelines, coordinating vendors and venues, and overseeing logistics such as décor, catering, travel, and on-ground execution. The role involves creating and managing event budgets, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring compliance with internal processes, and maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. The Event Planner will also collaborate with internal teams on brand communication, post-event reports, and continuous improvement of event delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong Event Planning and Event Management skills
- Ability to manage Budgeting and cost control for multiple events while maintaining quality standards.
- Effective Communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Sales and client relationship skills to support proposal development, upselling of services, and repeat business.
- Prior experience in events, hospitality, or travel management is highly desirable.
- Ability to work on-site, handle tight deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic event or project management tools; knowledge of travel or hospitality systems is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Business, or a related field preferred.
