Position: Manager – Event Operations (Logistics)
CTC: INR 26 LPA
Location: Ahmedabad (Relocation candidates welcome)

Job Overview
We are hiring an experienced Manager – Event Operations (Logistics) to lead the planning and execution of high-profile events including conferences, summits, roundtables, networking receptions, and dinners.
This role requires strong expertise in event logistics, vendor management, budgeting, and on-ground execution. The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed event execution plans covering all operational and logistical requirements.
- Prepare and manage RFPs and coordinate vendor selection processes.
- Identify, onboard, and manage vendors/suppliers (AV, production, catering, travel, registration, branding, etc.).
- Negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of vendor services.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth event planning and communication.
- Manage on-site setup and execution, ensuring seamless attendee experience.
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational challenges in real-time during events.
- Ensure event quality standards are met across branding, signage, technical setup, and guest experience.
- Manage event budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
- Identify risks and create contingency plans for unexpected issues.
- Provide regular progress updates to internal stakeholders and leadership teams.
Required Skills & Experience
- 7+ years of experience in event operations/logistics (conferences, summits, corporate events preferred).
- Strong understanding of end-to-end event execution and venue operations.
- Proven experience in vendor sourcing, negotiation, and relationship management.
- Strong budget management skills, including expense tracking and cost optimisation.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing internal teams and external partners.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities.
- Quick decision-making skills and ability to adapt to last-minute changes.
- Stable career progression and strong commitment to long-term roles.
Qualification
- Degree in Event Management / Business Administration or a related field preferred.
