Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Event Manager based in Hyderabad. The Event Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing events across various types, such as corporate events, sports events, and promotions. Responsibilities include budgeting, vendor coordination, managing logistics, ensuring compliance with client requirements, and leading a team to deliver successful events. The Event Manager will also be expected to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders while driving innovative event strategies that align with project goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events from concept to completion
- Understand client requirements and develop event proposals
- Select venues, vendors, and service providers
- Manage event budgets and negotiate contracts
- Coordinate logistics (catering, décor, audio-visual, transportation)
- Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
- Supervise event staff and vendors during events
- Handle on-site issues and ensure smooth operations
- Conduct post-event evaluations and feedback analysis
- Ensure compliance with safety and legal regulations
- Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
- Proven experience in event planning or management
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
