Role Description
This is a remote internship role for an Event Management Intern. The intern will assist in planning and executing events, coordinating logistics, and supporting the event management team. Responsibilities will include communication with stakeholders, organizing schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and helping develop training and marketing strategies related to events. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in event planning and coordination within the nonprofit sector.
Qualifications
- Skills in Event Planning and Event Management, including the ability to coordinate logistics and oversee event execution
- Strong Communication and collaboration abilities, especially with stakeholders and team members
- Experience or interest in Training and Marketing, with creative approaches for event promotions
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Motivated, self-starter mindset, with the ability to manage tasks independently
- Passion for nonprofit initiatives and community development is a plus
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferable
