Role Overview:

Role Overview

The Events and Guest Relations Manager will be responsible for planning and executing events, managing institutional visits, and ensuring high-quality guest experiences at the India Autism Center campus.

The role requires a unique blend of event management, hospitality, stakeholder engagement, and operational coordination.

The ideal candidate is organized, people-oriented, detail-driven, and passionate about creating meaningful experiences for diverse visitors.


Key Responsibilities1. Event Planning and Management


Conceptualize, plan, and execute events hosted by IAC including:

  • Conferences
  • Workshops and training programs
  • Community events
  • Donor engagements
  • Awareness and advocacy events
  • Coordinate logistics including venue setup, vendors, hospitality, and accessibility needs.
  • Work with internal teams to ensure events align with IAC’s mission and program objectives.
  • Manage event calendars and ensure smooth execution across multiple initiatives.


2. Guest Relations and Campus Visits


Serve as the primary point of contact for visiting guests, donors, partners, and delegations.

Coordinate and manage:

  • Institutional visits
  • Donor visits
  • Professional delegations
  • International visitors
  • Design and manage guided campus experiences that effectively communicate the vision and work of IAC.
  • Ensure hospitality arrangements including accommodation, meals, transport, and accessibility considerations.


3. Hospitality and Visitor Experience


  • Develop systems and protocols for guest reception and visitor management.
  • Ensure that guest experiences reflect the values of dignity, inclusivity, and professionalism.
  • Coordinate hospitality with administration and operations teams.



4. Stakeholder Coordination


Liaise with internal departments including:


  • Programs and Training
  • Communications
  • Administration
  • Leadership
  • Coordinate with external vendors, partners, and event service providers.


5. Event Documentation and Reporting


  • Maintain records of events, guest visits, and engagement outcomes.
  • Coordinate with the communications team for documentation, photography, and storytelling from events.
  • Provide event reports and insights to leadership.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Communications, Public Relations, or related fields.


4–8 years of experience in:

  • Event management
  • Guest relations
  • Hospitality
  • Institutional engagement



Experience with nonprofits, educational institutions, or mission-driven organizations will be an advantage.
