What You Will Do
As the Lead Product Designer at Even, you will be an integral part of a design-driven, cross-functional team, working to craft outstanding user experiences across our platform. You’ll take ownership of the design process and lead efforts to build intuitive, user-centric solutions that solve complex healthcare problems

Key Responsibilities:

1. Own the Product Design Process: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define design solutions, from ideation through execution. Continuously improve design processes and guidelines to enhance team productivity and output.
2. Solve Complex Problems: Focus on user-centered design solutions that address complex challenges, taking into account edge cases and nuances in user behavior.
3. Drive Impact through Design: Define success metrics for design projects and use data-driven insights to iterate and improve designs, ensuring they align with user needs and business goals.
4. Be a Design Evangelist: Advocate for exceptional user experiences within Even, promoting the value of design as a key driver of growth and success. Help shape the company's design culture, fostering an environment that prioritizes user-centered design.
5. Leadership Growth: Initially start as an individual contributor, but as you grow into the role, you’ll have the opportunity to step up as a leader, driving the vision for the UX design team and eventually building and managing the team.

What You Will Need

1. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing both web and mobile applications.
2. Design Skills: A keen eye for visual design with attention to detail, consistency, and high-quality aesthetics.
3. User-Centric Focus: A deep understanding of user behavior and psychology, with the ability to conduct user research, usability testing, and to derive insights that drive design decisions.
4. Problem-Solving: Strong ability to design and prototype creative solutions for complex design challenges.
5. Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design decisions to both the design team and leadership.
6. Collaboration: Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define, strategize, and deliver features.
7. Data-Driven: Understanding the importance of data and analytics in informing design decisions, and being comfortable with integrating qualitative and quantitative feedback into the design process.

Good to Have

1. Experience working with healthcare brands or in the Healthtech space.
2. Previous experience leading design teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
3. A dynamic design blog or published articles showcasing your thought leadership and design philosophy.
