Role Description This is a full-time, on-site EV Specialist role based in the Pune Division. The EV Specialist will support training, research, and development activities related to electric vehicle systems, components, and applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in the design, testing, and troubleshooting of EV powertrains, batteries, and charging systems, as well as preparing lab setups and demonstrations for training programs. The role involves creating and delivering technical content, mentoring learners on EV fundamentals and safety practices, and supporting hands-on workshops and projects. The EV Specialist will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to document findings, maintain equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement of EV curricula and training materials.
Qualifications
- Strong technical foundation in Electric Vehicle systems, including powertrains, batteries, charging infrastructure, and vehicle electronics.
- Hands-on skills in testing, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of EV components, measurement instruments, and lab equipment.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly and support training sessions, workshops, and practical labs.
- Experience or interest in related domains such as Robotics, automation, or clean energy technologies (e.g., Hydrogen Fuel Cells) is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills, with attention to safety and quality standards.
- Capacity to work collaboratively on-site in the Pune Division and manage multiple tasks in a fast-evolving technology environment.
- Prior industry, lab, or training experience in EV or automotive domains is preferred but not mandatory.
