Job Title: EV Infrastructure engineer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 3-5 Years

An EV Infrastructure Engineer designs, installs, and maintains electric vehicle charging stations (AC/DC fast chargers), ensuring grid safety, regulatory compliance, and high operational uptime. They conduct site feasibility studies, manage electrical layouts, and coordinate with utilities to build robust charging networks.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Engineering: Create electrical layouts, select hardware, and design infrastructure for charging sites.
- Installation & Commissioning: Manage contractors, oversee site construction, and perform testing of chargers.
- Maintenance & Support: Monitor network performance, diagnose faults, and ensure high uptime.
- Compliance & Planning: Ensure adherence to local electrical codes, permitting requirements, and safety standards.
- Technical Integration: Work with smart features like OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol), IoT, and energy management systems.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years in electrical projects, preferably with experience in EVSE (Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment).
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in AC/DC charging standards (CCS, CHAdeMO), load calculation, and AutoCAD.
- Soft Skills: Project management, vendor management, and troubleshooting abilities.
