Assists sales staff as needed.<br><br> </div><div><br></div><div>· Controls operational costs and identifies measures to cut waste.<br><br> </div><div>· Assesses and improves profitability of the Tasting Room.<br><br> </div><div>· Serves as a winery representative during in-house and outside promotional functions.<br><br> </div><div>· Conducts tours for VIP consumer and trade visits.<br><br> </div><div>· Understands the Société Memberships and assists with selling and updating of memberships and members’ data. <br><br> </div><div>· Develops relevant industry relationships as well as maintain relationships with existing key clients and vendors.<br><br> </div><div>· Creates detailed reports on weekly, monthly and annual, commissions, revenues and expenses.<br><br> </div><div>· Reports on sales trends as requested by Director of Tasting Rooms. <br><br> </div><div>· Conducts annual Tasting Room staff reviews with the involvement of the Director of Tasting Rooms.<br><br> </div><div>· Accurately and efficiently run POS system.<br><br> </div><div>· Answer telephones, take reservations, and respond to guests in a timely matter.<br><br> </div><div>· Responds efficiently and accurately to guests’ questions and complaints.<br><br> </div><div>· Comfortable working on feet for long periods of time.<br><br> </div><div>· Works closely with Wine Club Director to continue club growth and membership retention.<br><br> </div><div>· Manages the opening and closing of the tasting room involving cash handling, including drawer reconciliations and bank deposits.<br><br> </div><div>· Ensures the nightly deposits are completed and done correctly.<br><br> </div><div>· Manages Europa Village’s good image and suggests ways to improve it.<br><br> </div><div>· Appraises staff performance and provides feedback to improve productivity.<br><br> </div><div>· Maintains stock levels and orders supplies or delegates supply ordering when necessary.<br><br> </div><div>· Ability to “read” the Tasting Room and surrounding areas and know what areas and/or guests need attention.
