Platform Engineer

Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Platform Engineer passionate about learning new technologies quickly and contributing at both strategic and tactical levels.About Euromonitor:Euromonitor International leads the world in data analytics and research in consumer markets. Responsibilities:- Design, develop and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and platforms- Automate infrastructure and application deployments- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our technology stack- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues- Continuously research and evaluate new technologies to improve our platforms and processes- Mentor junior members of the engineering teamRequirements:- Strong experience in building and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)- Proficient in at least one infrastructure as code tool (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)- Hands-on experience with containers and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tooling (e.g. Jenkins, CircleCI, GitHub Actions)- Solid understanding of networking concepts and experience with network troubleshooting- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and ability to manage multiple priorities- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
