<li>Start times for after-school programs can vary between 1 p.m. and 5 p.m.</li>
<li>Group clinic times vary between 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.</li>
<li>It has a flexible schedule, working two or more days per week from Monday through Friday.</li>
<li>A maximum of 3-5 hours per week.</li>
</ul><div><br></div><div><strong>Job Description:</strong></div><div>We are currently seeking enthusiastic and flexible Tennis Coaches to join our team. As a Tennis Coach, you will have the opportunity to teach a diverse range of age groups in various settings, including after-school programs, group classes, camps, and private lessons.</div><div><br></div><div><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></div><div><br></div><div>Class Management:</div><ul>
<li>Manage a class of 8 - 16 students (ages 5-10) for after-school tennis programs.</li>
<li>Manage a class of up to 8 students (ages 3 and up) for group clinics.</li>
</ul><div>Teaching:</div><ul><li>Instruct tennis classes using provided lesson plans.</li></ul><div>Training and Preparation:</div><ul>
<li>Must attend a two-day training/shadowing session to familiarize yourself with the program.</li>
<li>Transport tennis equipment to and from class.</li>
<li>Set up the tennis equipment.</li>
</ul><div>Administrative Tasks:</div><ul>
<li>Take attendance and sign in and sign out students for each class.</li>
<li>Interact with parents and school office staff as needed.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to the parents about the progress for each student by the end of the session.</li>
</ul><div>Documentation:</div><div><br></div><ul><li>Take a few pictures each session of kids in action.</li></ul><div><br></div><div>Requirements:</div><ul>
<li>Must be 19+ years old upon application.</li>
<li>Teaching or playing experience in tennis is preferred but not mandatory.</li>
<li>USPTA/PTR certification is preferred but not required.</li>
<li>Enjoy working with kids and professionally managing a class.</li>
<li>Applicants should demonstrate flexibility, reliability, punctuality, professionalism, and an enthusiastic work approach.</li>
<li>Good communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Resilient, positive attitude.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and within a small team.</li>
<li>Must have reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.</li>
<li>Willingness to undergo a live scan background check before working.</li>
<li>Must be vaccinated.</li>
