ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Reports directly to the Slot Manager
· Interact positively and effectively with Co-workers, Management, Guests, and Vendors
Requires dependable, punctual attendance and be willing to work flexible hours, varied shifts and attend mandatory meetings
· Ability to obtain and maintain an NH Gaming License
· Perform HHR machine fills and jackpot payouts
· Provide prompt and courteous Guest Service while maintaining a fun and professional environment
· Makes change for Guests as needed
· Examine and sign jackpot tickets and prepare required documentation
· Verify and pay jackpot amounts to Guests per Departmental SOPs
· Assist Guests with ticket concerns and kiosk usage
· Perform preventative maintenance on machines and notify Supervisor or Management of issues
· Document maintenance in the Department Repair Log
· Clean machines and assist in keeping the casino clean and free of debris
· Load voucher paper/HHR tickets into machines as needed
· Walk the gaming floor and explain game functionality to Guests if requested
· Perform minor machine maintenance such as clearing bill validators, printer jams, replacing lights or buttons
· Assist in resolving minor Guest concerns or disputes
· Reconcile daily redemption activity in a timely manner per SOPs
· Ensure compliance with Gaming Rules and Regulations, Anti-Money Laundering requirements, IRS reporting and Company Policies
· Keep work area in compliance with Company standards and SOPs
· All other duties as assigned
· Basic understanding of gaming machines or electronics preferred
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· General math skills
· Ability to handle cash, tickets, and transactions accurately
· Ability to follow procedures and departmental SOPs
· Strong organizational skill
· Ability to apply common sense reasoning in a variety of situations
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Minimum one (1) year experience in casino or high-volume environment preferred
AGE AND CERTIFICATIONS:
· 18 years of age or above
· Ability to obtain an NH Gaming License
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
· Ability to speak, read, write and understand written instructions in English required
· Ability to respond to inquiries, complaints and emergencies
· Ability to speak Spanish a plus
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals
· Ability to handle payouts and cash transactions accurately
REASONING ABILITY:
· Ability to apply common sense reasoning to a variety of situations
· Ability to read and understand a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
· Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints

Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

The work environment is fast paced and involves working on the casino floor with Guests and co-workers. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud on a daily basis. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures and smoke in designated areas.
Due to the unpredictable nature of the hospitality/entertainment industry, employees must be able to work varying-schedules to reflect the business needs of the property. The HHR Attendant’s primary role is to create a friendly and professional environment for Guests while ensuring proper machine operation, accurate payouts and adherence to all gaming regulations and Company Policies.
