Staff Software Engineer I, Full Stack

Etsy is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our International Engineering team. You will be joining a team of software engineers, building features and systems to enable our international sellers to reach millions of buyers globally. The technology we build spans the full stack end to end; from user experience, to API design, backend service development, vendor integrations, and database design. Depending on the needs of the business, our team may need to move up and down the stack, and in many cases collaborate with other teams to get to what needs to be done. As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be driving the technical direction and strategy of the team, working closely with engineering managers, senior engineers and cross functional partners to design and deliver large scale technical solutions. You will ensure a high level of quality by leading by example, setting solid engineering standards and mentoring engineers at all levels.
