AFPL is expanding its operations with a $50 million greenfield project in Saykha, Gujarat, focusing on green chemistry with ethanol as a key feedstock for industries like food, beverages, flavors, fragrances, API, and fuel blending.
Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time position based in Bharuch for the role of ETP/ZLD (Effluent Treatment Plant/Zero Liquid Discharge) Manager. The responsibilities include overseeing and managing the operation and maintenance of ETP and ZLD systems, ensuring regulatory compliance with environmental standards, and optimizing wastewater treatment processes. The selected candidate will also be tasked with monitoring water treatment efficiency, preparing reports, and supervising the treatment plant team to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in operating and managing Effluent Treatment Plants and Zero Liquid Discharge systems
- Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, compliance standards, and environmental regulations
- Skills in monitoring, problem-solving, and optimizing treatment efficiency
- Leadership capabilities to manage a team and ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in manufacturing, chemical, or related industries is preferred
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to dynamic workplace environments and handle projects with attention to detail
